Celtic are set to win the Scottish Premiership title this season. The Hoops could wrap up the championship as early as this weekend.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are unbeaten in the league so far this season, and one suspects that the Hoops would be determined to maintain their undefeated record for the rest of the 2016-17 campaign.

While that is something to strive for, Celtic should also use the final games of the season to give chances to talented and promising young players.

A couple of Celtic youngsters who would benefit from a run in the first team in the final weeks are Jack Aitchison and Liam Henderson.

Aitchison is only 17 years of age and plays as a forward. The teenager has made a total of two appearances in all competitions for the first team, scoring one goal in the process.

The Scotland Under-17 forward is very young, and it could be three or four more years before he establishes himself in the first team.

However, Celtic manager Rodgers should give him some chances between now and the end of the season when the pressure is off.

Another player that Rodgers should look to give more chances to is Liam Henderson. The 20-year-old is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and he is only going to improve if he plays regularly.
