Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Nigel Reo-Coker has been talking about Dele Alli and his mentality.
The midfielder has come under fire for his mentality in the past. Jose Mourinho famously called him lazy, and sometimes, his body language on the pitch tells the full story.
Sadly, Reo-Coker believes there are underlying issues there with Dele Alli and that he isn’t prioritising his football at the moment.

Reo-Coker gave his view on Alli.
“The club, for me, has been a mess from the top and the recruitment side of things, there’s been no direction and it’s difficult,” Reo-Coker said.
“Do they care? For me, those are some great players, but are they the ones Everton need in this situation? Look at that window and they should’ve been looking just for survival. Dele Alli is Dele Alli there are issues there and for me football doesn’t look to be his priority and he can show his aggression in the way he plays and approaches the game rather than getting into scuffles and stuff.”
Needs to sort it
Dele Alli needs to get his head back in the game or else he risks wasting his career.
Just imagine how bad a relegation would look on his CV immediately after joining Everton.
This is a two-time PFA Young Player of the Year winner, he should have the quality to single-handedly win points for any team in this league, but at Everton he’s offered absolutely nothing so far.
Alli needs to concentrate on getting his career back on track.
