Wayne Rooney has left Everton for DC United.

Theo Walcott was a rival for many years with Wayne Rooney when he was at Arsenal and the latter was at Manchester United, but for the second half of last season they were teammates at Everton.
Walcott, who started his professional club football career at Southampton before joining Arsenal in 2006, moved to Everton from the the Gunners in the January transfer window.
Rooney started his professional club football career at Everton and left for Manchester United in 2004 before returning to the Toffees in the summer of 2017.

The former England international, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, has left Everton for DC United in Major League Soccer in the summer transfer window.
Walcott, who can play as a forward or as a winger, played with Rooney for the England national football team, and the 29-year-old former Southampton and Arsenal star has sent a message to the 32-year-old on social networking site Twitter, and has thanked his former England international teammate.
