Theo Walcott has paid tribute to the ‘amazing’ Everton fans on Twitter.
Thousands of Toffees supporters made the 265-mile trip to the South Coast yesterday as Everton drew 2-2 with Bournemouth.
Many would have gone away with a feeling of major disappointment, after Marco Silva’s side surrendered a two-goal lead by conceding twice in the final 15 minutes.
But the former Arsenal winger, who opened the scoring for Everton, has acknowledged their support on Twitter.
It was a brilliant performance by Walcott who has enjoyed a very decent start to the season.
The 29-year-old, who earns £110,000 per week on Merseyside [Silly Season], joined the Goodison Park side from the Gunners in January and had a mixed first six months or so.
But the England international, who has two goals and one assist in three Premier League games now, will be hoping to be a lot more consistent and prolific this time around.
