Theo Walcott pleased with Everton’s deadline day signings

Everton forward Theo Walcott has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his verdict on the club’s transfer deadline day activity.

The Toffees were quite busy on the final day of the transfer window this summer and made as many as three new signings.

The Premier League club signed Brazilian winger Bernard on a free transfer, while central defender Yerry Mina moved from Barcelona for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £27.2 million.

Everton also secured the services of Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona.

Walcott – who joined Everton from Arsenal in the January transfer window for a fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £20 millionis impressed with the signings the Merseyside outfit made on transfer deadline day.

Everton have a new manager in charge, Marco Silva, and the Toffees were quite busy before transfer deadline day on Thursday.

The Merseyside club had already signed Lucas Digne and Richarlison, and the Goodison Park faithful should be very happy with how things have gone for the club this summer.
