Everton have been linked with Arsenal’s Theo Walcott, with Ronald Koeman believed to be a big fan.
Theo Walcott may have some apologising to do to his new Everton teammates, if he does make a switch to Goodison Park this summer.
According to the Telegraph, Everton are lining up a bid for the Arsenal forward.
Walcott’s future at the Emirates Stadium is in doubt, as he has failed to nail down a starting spot this season.

Everton are believed to be leading the race for his signature, but Walcott was very honest with his assessment of Ronald Koeman’s side earlier this season.
Walcott claimed that Everton’s players were not trying hard enough to the Liverpool Echo back in December 2016.
He said: “Teams have a phase in a season and maybe their’s is just now and they are going to push on in January. Last year, we were disappointed with how we finished because we didn’t work hard enough – it was there for us but we didn’t work hard enough to get it – and maybe Everton are at the same stage.

“Maybe Everton are at the same sort of stage at the moment. They are maybe not working as hard as Ronald wants them to do.”
Walcott did go on to suggest that Everton had a lot of quality in their squad, though.
“They have got some fantastic individual players and there is no reason why they can’t be right up there,” he added.
If Walcott was to move to Everton it would end his 11 year stay with the London side.
Walcott would be in competition with the likes of Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku for a first-team place if he did move to Everton.
