The young Spurs pair were snapped training together yesterday, as Nuno gave a number of the senior players the day off.
Tottenham have travelled to Holland to face Vitesse in the Conference League, but none of the outfield players who featured against Newcastle United will be selected.
That means that Gil and Scarlett could have an opportunity to showcase their talents later this evening.
And most Spurs fans are excited over the potential that the pair have for the future.
Stars of the future?
It is understandable why Tottenham fans feel that they have two potential superstars in Gil and Scarlett.
Gil only joined Spurs over the summer, but the Spaniard has already shown in flashes what he can offer.
He has been one of the biggest positives from their Conference League run, and while he is yet to really make an impact in the Premier League, his performances suggest that he could have a big part to play for Spurs in the years ahead.
Scarlett, meanwhile, has emerged from Tottenham’s academy to become a regular member of their first-team squad now.
The teenaged striker has been raved about by Jose Mourinho and his goalscoring record at under-23 level remains hugely impressive.
