Some Aston Villa fans on social media have been going crazy over Louie Barry after he hit a hat-trick in the FA Youth Cup.
On the same day that ex-Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham made a mark in the Champions League, Villa’s brightest young talent was showing why he could be the next big thing to come out of the Second City.
Barry netted three, including a fabulous free-kick, against Burton in a fantastic 9-0 win for the U18s, and as you can imagine, such an emphatic victory had Villa fans talking.
Aaron Ramsey was one player who got a lot of praise, but it was the hat-trick hero who was the centre of attention on social media.
Somewhat understandably, some fans called for him to get a chance in the first-team, and with Villa seemingly settled in mid-table in the Premier League, Dean Smith may not get many better opportunities to unleash the youngster.
