Ryan Bennett has a very impressive record since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers.

These transfer coups and the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as manager have helped Wolves climb to the top of the Championship and establish themselves as favourites for promotion.
Unsurprisingly amidst the thrilling recruitment drive that would follow, the signing of central defender Ryan Bennett on a free transfer from Norwich City back in May was quicky forgotten about.
The 27-year-old defender has been on the fringes of the Wolves team for most of the season but has taken every opportunity that he has had to impress at his new club with both hands.
Bennett’s record for Wolves stands at seven starts, seven clean sheets and six wins – with the draw coming in the EFL Cup tie that they would eventually lose to Manchester City on penalties.
The only goal that Wolves have conceded while Bennett has been on the pitch was a stoppage-time penalty from Hull City’s David Meyler back in August, after he had been brought on as a substitute.
Bennett’s form is not going to take the spotlight away from his more glamorous teammates, but it just goes to show that Wolves can still find a gem in the transfer market without the Mendes influence.
