Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has raved about West Ham United ace Declan Rice on The Overlap.
Kane and Rice are England international teammates, and the Tottenham striker believes that the West Ham midfielder is a brilliant player.
The 27-year-old has said that Rice has progressed over the past year or so, and is wowed by the way he reads the game.
Kane said about Rice on The Overlap: “He has definitely progressed, even better over the last year or so. His stature, how he goes about his business, he is getting more confident, he has been with us for a while now, England.
“He can easily be a centre-back, the way he reads the game, he sweeps up. He is a fantastic player.”
Rice is one of the best young players in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old is deployed as a midfielder at West Ham, but the England international can also play as a central defender.

Rice’s performance was one of the reasons why West Ham did so well in the Premier League this season, and why the Hammers will play in the Europa League during the 2021-22 campaign.
The youngster will be a big player for England at the Euro 2020 finals this summer as well.
It must be really encouraging for Rice to have the admiration and support of Kane, who is not only one of the best strikers in the world, but also a very important and senior figure in the England dressing room.
