Andy Robertson has stated that the manner in which Luis Diaz plays is ‘different’, as the Liverpool defender told Premier League Productions (24/04/22 at 6:35 pm).

The Scotland international added that Diaz has been ‘unbelievable’ for Liverpool following his winter move from Porto.

Diaz didn’t start Liverpool’s 2-0 Merseyside win against Everton on Sunday, but he still managed to be the talk of the town.

Within minutes of the versatile forward coming onto the pitch, he produced an outrageous skill when Trent Alexander-Arnold played a cross-field ball to the player.

Rather than control the ball in an orthodox manner, he decided to take his first touch with his backheel in a ridiculous fashion, as Robertson spoke highly about his teammate.

“Diaz has been unbelievable since he has come in,” said Roberton. “The impact he has had on the squad.

“The way he plays is different and he has been exceptional.”

It’s quite remarkable that Jurgen Klopp has his players pushing for all four trophies heading into May.

Usually, teams are focusing on just the one trophy, or at best two and are putting all their energy and force into that.

But, with the League Cup already in the bag, this Liverpool side has an unbelievable chance to write their name into the history books.

It continues with the first leg of their semi-final Champions League clash against Villarreal on Wednesday night.
