The Mali international is apparently up for grabs at Crystal Palace.

The story

Wolves are hoping to bring Bakary Sako back to the club from Crystal Palace – according to reports.

The Eagles are said to be hoping to the sale of Sako this January and the Birmingham Mail report that Paul Lambert is keen on bringing him back to Molineux.

Positives

Wolves fans of course know exactly what Sako would bring.

He spent three years at Molineux before heading to Palace on a free transfer in August 2015.

He would add some serious power going forward and hopefully continue where he left off at the club.

Negatives

Sako has not been playing regularly at Palace and has clearly had a dip in confidence during his time at Selhurst Park.

He is also a Mali international and could head to the African Cup of Nations for most of January.

The verdict?

Despite his lack of football in recent times and his potential absence for most of January having Sako from February onward would be a huge boost for Wolves and Lambert.

If they can put a deal together than Wolves should certainly bring him back to Molineux.
