The Toffees are said to be back in the race for the Italian striker.
The story
It has been reported by Corriere dello Sport that Everton have begun discussing a deal with Napoli yet again as they look to secure the signature of the talented forward.
The report claims that Everton have offered Napoli around €20 million for the player (£16.8 million), which is around €10 million less than what they offered for him in the summer, and that Everton are considering the offer.
Manolo Gabbiadini
Positives
The Italian talent is still young and is clearly a player plenty of clubs are keen on getting hold of.
They are also getting him for a fraction of his original asking price, a big boost for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Everton are short in attack and Gabbiadini could help support Romelu Lukaku in attack.

Negatives
Gabbiadini is not exactly in form. He has scored just two goals this season and there is a reason why Napoli are willing to lower their asking price.
He could be a brilliant buy, but is unproven in the Premier League and might not be suited to the demands of English football.
The verdict?
Gabbiadini is talented but Everton should seriously reconsider making a move for him this winter. There are better options out there and Everton should not sign Gabbiadini this January.
