Derby County are set to take on Leeds United, Brentford, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their next five league matches.

Leeds United (home) – 1-1 draw
Derby have a poor record against Leeds, but they are set to come up against one of the Championship’s form sides at the weekend. The Whites have won five of their last six matches, and should give Derby a stern test.
Brentford (home) – 1-1 draw
Brentford have been one of the Championship’s surprise packages this season, and will travel to the iPro Stadium full of confidence. Derby could struggle to get a win here.
Huddersfield Town (away) – 2-1 defeat
A trip to the league leaders is a daunting prospect. Huddersfield’s high-pressing style has been very effective so far this season, and it could cause Derby problems.
Sheffield Wednesday (home) – 2-1 win
This is another tough test for Derby, but Wednesday are yet to hit top gear this season. The Rams may just be able to take advantage of that and get three points here.
Wolverhampton Wanderers (away) – 1-1 draw
A match at Molineux is another tough test for McClaren, who is set to be welcomed with a baptism of fire. Derby will have to play to their best to get anything against Walter Zenga’s talented side.
