Players from Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Leeds United, West Ham United and more feature.
1) Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)

Few players make an impact as swift and memorable as Manchester City’s exciting young Brazilian.
Having finally arrived at the Etihad Stadium in January, the 19-year-old scored one and set up another in his first appearance and followed that up with a brace just four days later.
Injury has curtailed his blistering start but Jesus is the real deal and he should be eyeing scoring records for club and country over the next decade.
2) Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

It is crazy to think how little was known about Marcus Rashford at the start of last season, but just 13 months on from his unforgettable debut he is now one of Manchester United’s most exciting players.
While at one point it seemed the 19-year-old was destined to score with every single touch, his return has died down somewhat, although his all-round play and frightening pace are impossible to ignore.
The goals will come – and plenty of them.
3) Tammy Abraham (Chelsea)

The first of a number of Chelsea players on this list, 19-year-old Tammy Abraham has seized his opportunity at loan club Bristol City, scoring 22 goals in 40 matches to date.
While injury struck earlier in the campaign he has wasted little time getting back to what he does best and few players in the top 50 possess the innate scoring ability of the Blues youngster.
4) Marcus Edwards (Tottenham Hotspur)

The jewel in the crown of Tottenham’s academy, 18-year-old Marcus Edwards is as high as he is because he is just so damn good.
Mauricio Pochettino may have only given him 15 minutes of senior action to date but in time he should take White Hart Lane by storm.
A mini Messi in the making, Edwards is the player Tottenham fans are hoping justifies the hype.
5) Reece Oxford (West Ham United)

Back in August 2015, West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic gave a debut to a 16-year-old, away, to Arsenal!
For those who did not know better, it looked like a huge risk, but Reece Oxford is not your average teenager and by the end of the match it seemed a new Hammers star had been born.
Now 18, the centre-back-cum-midfielder has seen his progress halted and he has headed out on loan to Championship side Reading. But in time he will be the first name on West Ham’s team sheet.
6) Tom Davies (Everton)

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is not afraid to give youth a chance and in Tom Davies he has found a player that is simply too good to ignore.
The 18-year-old central midfielder has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water, building on his debut at the end of last season and looking every inch a future Goodison Park great.
With one (superb) goal and three assists to date, Davies is heading in only one direction.
7) Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Manchester United)

Louis van Gaal gave a lot of young players a chance at Manchester United, but Timothy Fosu-Mensah is one of two that could go on to become a great player at the club.
The other is at number two in this list, but despite playing considerably less football than Marcus Rashford, the Dutchman cannot be ignored for much longer.
A central defender equally comfortable as a full-back or a holding midfielder, 19-year-old Fosu-Mensah is a beast of a player and could one day partner Paul Pogba in the centre of the park.
8) Joe Gomez (Liverpool)

Highly rated at former club Charlton Athletic, Joe Gomez wasted little time making an impact at Anfield before an anterior cruciate ligament injury set him back.
Having returned to full fitness, the 19-year-old is the defender Liverpool are crying out for: a talented centre-back who can also excel as a left-back.
Next season will see him make up for lost time.
9) Ronaldo Vieira (Leeds United)

The first player on this list not to belong to a Premier League club, Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira is a simply outstanding midfielder who can go as far as he wants to in the game.
The 18-year-old has seized the chance given to him by Leeds manager Garry Monk and not looked back, featuring 33 times this season and playing a vital role in the club’s promotion push.
While the likes of Lewis Cook and Sam Byram have left Leeds only to flounder, Vieira should stay and become an Elland Road legend.
10) Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham)

Despite being only 16, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is unsurprisingly on the radar of plenty of Premier League sides.
Predominantly a left-back but also a very handy winger (as Newcastle United recently discovered to their cost) Sessegnon will not be outside the top flight for long.
Despite only featuring 24 times for Fulham to date, he already has six goals, three assists and plenty of admirers.
11) Ben Brereton (Nottingham Forest)

It can be foolish to get over excited about a teenage goal-scorer when they first burst on to the scene, but Nottingham Forest fans will not be able to contain themselves after 17-year-old Ben Brereton announced his talent with three goals and two assists in his first 10 appearances for the club.
The teenager has been a rare ray of light at the City Ground this season and he looks set for a very big future in the game.
12) Reiss Nelson (Arsenal)
He may only be 17 but Arsenal fans in the know will be getting very excited about Reiss Nelson.
The right winger is quite the talent, as his nine goals in 10 games for England at last summer’s European Under-17 Championship proved.
While he does play predominantly from the right he can occupy any attacking area with aplomb and if he fulfils his potential he could be the best player to come through Arsenal’s academy for many years.
13) Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Liverpool have a number of players on this list and 18-year-old right-back Trent Alexander Arnold is the real deal.
While he has a battle on his hands to get regular game time ahead of Nathaniel Clyne, he will know that with patience comes great opportunity.
So far the England under-19 international has nine appearances for the senior side and he is clearly trusted by manager Jurgen Klopp.
14) Ainsley Maitland-Niles (Arsenal)

Hot on the heels of Nelson is another young Gunner who has already taken his first steps at the Emirates Stadium.
The 19-year-old is even more versatile than his teammate and has featured at right-back, central midfield and on the wing already this season.
Where he settles could determine just how many chances he gets in North London.
15) Dominic Solanke (Chelsea)

It remains to be seen where Dominic Solanke will be next season but for now he is on Chelsea’s books.
The emergence of Abraham will not have helped him in his hopes of becoming a regular (or even a bit-part player) at Stamford Bridge, but wherever the soon-to-be free agent ends up expect him to score plenty of goals once he settles.
16) Ben Woodburn (Liverpool)

Liverpool fans know a thing or two about teenage goal-scorers who force their way into their manager’s thinking and the latest is Ben Woodburn.
The 17-year-old opened his account for the Reds in the EFL Cup clash with Leeds United and he is now very much part of the first-team.
17) Martin Samuelsen (West Ham United)

It is baffling to think that Martin Samuelsen has been used so sparingly by West Ham so far, instead sent out on a number of loan deals that have yielded varying levels of success.
The 19-year-old Norwegian has the balance, passing ability and confidence to excel at the London Stadium and he deserves chances to show that next season.
18) Sheyi Ojo (Liverpool)

Yet another Liverpool player on the list. 19-year-old Sheyi Ojo will be hoping to kick on next season after back trouble at the start of the campaign limited his opportunities.
His previous loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers proved what he is capable of and while wingers can be as frustrating as they can be exciting, he will get chances to prove his worth under Klopp.
19) James Bree (Aston Villa)

Aston Villa’s January transfer business was such that it is easy to forget James Bree when bigger names arrived alongside him. But the 19-year-old right-back has started to prove his worth and he could be Steve Bruce’s first-choice in that position when he looks to push for promotion next season.
The former Barnsley player has Alan Hutton and – eventually – Ritchie De Laet to contend with but he has the talent to win that particular battle and plenty more besides.
20) Cameron Carter-Vickers (Tottenham Hotspur)

Tottenham have a lot of defensive options right now yet in time 19-year-old Cameron Carter-Vickers should put himself right in the mix.
The young American has regularly played above his age level and he was being tipped as a future first-team star at Spurs when he was only 16.
21) Angel Gomes (Manchester United)
Unless you follow Manchester United you are unlikely to have heard of Angel Gomes. However that will change in a year or two.
Rated by many as the best academy prospect at Old Trafford right now, the 16-year-old attacking midfielder will bide his time and hope he follows in the footsteps of so many young United players before him.
22) Toni Martinez (West Ham United)

Another West Ham player who really deserves to be at the London Stadium right now, 19-year-old Toni Martinez is instead on loan at Oxford United where he continues to stake a claim.
The Spaniard scored for fun in the Hammers’ under-23s earlier in the campaign, netting 10 goals in just 11 matches, and his recent strikes against Newcastle and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup speak volumes about his talent and his confidence.
23) Max Lowe (Derby County)

It is no understatement to say that 19-year-old left-back Max Lowe is one of the best youngsters to come out of Derby County’s academy for years.
The teenager is an outstanding talent and while he only has 12 appearances for the Rams so far he will go far.
The only concern among the Derby faithful could be how long they can keep him, but if they play him week in, week out in the next few years he would be wise to continue his development at the club.
24) Jonathan Leko (West Bromwich Albion)

Despite only getting limited game time at The Hawthorns this season, 17-year-old Jonathan Leko is now very much part of the first-team setup and in time he will play a major role for West Brom.
Yet to score but with two assists for Tony Pulis’s side, the right winger – who can also play up front – will be hoping to make far more impact in 2018.
25) Andre Green (Aston Villa)

Aston Villa have some very exciting young players coming through the ranks right now and winger Andre Green is one of the very best.
Like all Villa’s wingers this season, the 18-year-old has been in and out of the side and has had hits and misses when it comes to his performances, but that is to be expected from one so young in a tough position on the field and he is only going to get better with time.
26) Ovie Ejaria (Liverpool)

19-year-old attacking midfielder Ovie Ejaria impressed in the cup competitions for Liverpool this season and he tasted defeat just once in six outings.
The fact that Liverpool had a 100 per cent record in the EFL Cup before Ejaria’s absence against Southampton could just be coincidence, but he will be hoping to build on his breakout campaign.
27) Sam Field (West Bromwich Albion)

The future looks bright at West Brom, with 18-year-old Sam Field having the potential to excel along with Leko at The Hawthorns.
Field is literally getting a minute here and there in the league but it shows he is very much in Tony Pulis’s long-term plans and patience is key for his development.
28) Josh Tymon (Hull City)

Josh Tymon’s Premier League debut may not have gone according to plan, with relegation rivals Sunderland running out 3-0 winners, but the 17-year-old has not lost in his three appearances since and he looks set for a successful career at the KC Stadium.
He will only play sporadically in the short term but he will expect that and the presence of new manager Marco Silva will only benefit his development.
29) Domingos Quina (West Ham United)
Another 17-year-old who could have the world at his feet, West Ham’s Portuguese midfielder is such an exciting talent and if he fulfils his potential he will be a major part of Bilic’s team of the future.
A regular on the first-team bench this season, Quina really is a superstar in the making and he will be hoping to make his debut in the final few weeks of the campaign.
30) Tosin Adarabioyo (Manchester City)

It must be hard for a young centre-back at a top club where the chance of you breaking through is all but impossible.
Such is the situation involving Manchester City’s Tosin Adarabioyo right now and with his contract expiring in the summer he may not be at the Etihad Stadium for much longer.
If that is the case, expect the line of suitors to be long, because the 19-year-old has everything in his locker to be a Premier League defender for the next decade and more.
31) Kyle Walker-Peters (Tottenham Hotspur)
Yet another of Tottenham’s exciting youth products, right-back Kyle Walker-Peters has a battle on his hands to get into the first-team ahead of his near namesake and Kieran Trippier, but he has the talent to get there in time.
The 19-year-old may need to go out on loan in the short term, having already turned out 47 times for Tottenham’s under-23s, but the fact he can also operate on the left marks him out as one to watch.
32) Jeff Reine-Adelaide (Arsenal)

Arsenal continue to develop some fine young talent but only time will tell if Jeff Reine-Adelaide can succeed where so many have failed before him.
The 19-year-old is extremely versatile, able to play as a central midfielder, in a more advanced role and on either wing.
He has eight Arsenal appearances under his belt to date and will be hoping to build on that next season.
33) Brahim Diaz (Manchester City)
Only 17 but with skill in abundance and an eye for goal, Manchester City’s Brahim Diaz will be hoping he does not become a one-appearance wonder at the Etihad Stadium.
That is highly unlikely given his versatility and attacking intent, with seven goals and five assists in 18 under-23 matches proving what he can do.
34) Rico Henry (Brentford)

Another left-back who has been linked with the Premier League big boys, Rico Henry is currently plying his trade at Brentford and it was a sensible move for the player after he left Walsall.
The 19-year-old suffered a horribly-timed shoulder injury in the summer but he is now back and eager to make up for lost time.
35) Stephy Mavididi (Arsenal)
Arsenal look to have produced another exciting goal-scorer in the form of Stephy Mavididi but only time will tell if he can force his way into Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans.
The 18-year-old has found the net 20 times in 40 under-23 matches and while a loan spell at Charlton Athletic has not gone according to plan he has an ability in front of goal that cannot be taught.
36) Matty Cash (Nottingham Forest)

Versatility can make or break a young footballer but Nottingham Forest’s Matty Cash appears to be benefiting from his ability in a number of different areas.
The 19-year-old is predominantly a right-sided midfielder but he has also played centrally and as a right-back this season.
He is highly rated at the City Ground and it will be interesting to see how he develops next season and beyond.
37) Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal)
Another Arsenal striker who will be hoping to usurp Mavididi, 17-year-old Eddie Nketiah was the Gunners’ top scorer at under-18 level last season with a very impressive 24 goals in 28 matches.
There is a long way to go before he can be considered a first-team prospect yet he is certainly heading in the right direction and he averages nearly a goal every other game for the under-23s since making the step up.
38) Jacob Bedeau (Aston Villa)
The unheralded arrival in a month of prominent signings, Jacob Bedeau’s move from Bury to Aston Villa could ultimately be one of the best.
The 17-year-old has slotted into Villa’s under-23 side for now, but given that he has already played seven first-team matches for his former club, he will be itching to step up in due course.
39) Dael Fry (Middlesbrough)

Middlesbrough’s defence has impressed despite their Premier League struggles this season, so it is no surprise that their only player on this list is a centre-back who is highly rated at the Riverside Stadium.
Dael Fry is a 19-year-old defender who has 10 senior appearances for Boro under his belt and another 10 from a loan spell at Rotherham United earlier this season.
40) Aleix Garcia (Manchester City)
Another City player who will be dreaming of impressing Pep Guardiola enough to build on his eight senior appearances to date, the 19-year-old midfielder scored for the Blues in the EFL Cup win against Swansea City and is getting used to a place on the bench in the league.
41) Virgil Gomis (Nottingham Forest)
While it is a big step from the under-18s to the senior side, Forest fans will be hoping it is a smooth transition for striking sensation Virgil Gomis.
The 17-year-old has been scoring for fun this season and he and Brereton could be set to develop quite the partnership in the years ahead.
42) Andre Dozzell (Ipswich Town)
Another 17-year-old, Andre Dozzell has already featured 10 times for Ipswich Town and looks set for a huge future at the club.
He will be managed effectively in order to keep the pressure off his young shoulders but if he continues on his current trajectory it is only a matter of time before he is featuring on a regular basis.
43) Nathan Holland (West Ham United)
The final West Ham player on this list, winger Nathan Holland could be every bit as important as the likes of Oxford and Samuelsen in the years ahead.
The 18-year-old is predominantly a left winger who is starting to make a name for himself with the Hammers’ under-23 side.
A loan move next season could benefit all parties and ensure he continues on the path to a regular starting spot at the London Stadium.
44) Olufela Olomola (Southampton)
Southampton would have more players on this list were it not for the fact that some of their brightest prospects have recently moved into their twenties.
Olufela Olomola is a 19-year-old centre-forward who can also play on either wing if required and he will be hoping to build on his solitary first-team appearance.
Averaging a goal every other game for the Saints’ under-23s this season, his time will come.
45) Tashan Oakley-Boothe (Tottenham Hotspur)
Tottenham have so many talented players in their ranks right now but midfielder Tashan Oakley-Boothe could be the best under-18 prospect at White Hart Lane.
Highly rated by all at Spurs he has everything in his locker to follow the likes of Edwards and Carter-Vickers in time.
46) Lewis McNall (Newcastle United)
Newcastle youngster Lewis McNall has been scoring for run for the under-18s and continued that run in this season’s FA Youth Cup prior to their quarter-final exit.
After stepping up to the Magpies’ under-23 side he has not looked out of place and he could be yet another young Newcastle striker to keep a very close eye on – along with the exciting Adam Armstrong.
47) Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (Aston Villa)
The youngest ever player to feature in the Premier League for Aston Villa, striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has had to be patient ever since being granted his debut under former boss Tim Sherwood.
Now 18, the teenager has scored seven goals in just 11 under-23 matches this season and has also featured twice in the Championship.
Next season could be the one when he breaks through on a more consistent basis if Villa boss Steve Bruce is willing to give him a chance.
48) Kieran Dowell (Everton)
Everton’s attacking midfielder Kieran Dowell will be watching Tom Davies’ progress at Goodison Park with interest, hoping to follow in his fellow teenager’s footsteps.
The 19-year-old can play anywhere across the middle of the park and while he only has three Toffees appearances to date more are expected to follow.
49) Rhian Brewster (Liverpool)
The final Liverpool player on a list containing plenty, Rhian Brewster impressed for the second string earlier this season, scoring two goals for the under-23s having only recently stepped up from the under-18s, where he has been scoring for fun.
Still only 16, he could forge an effective long-term partnership with Woodburn at Anfield.
50) George Hirst (Sheffield Wednesday)
Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping George Hirst follows in the footsteps of his father and becomes a goal-scoring great for the Owls.
The 18-year-old has just two first-team appearances for Wednesday under his belt yet he will be well aware what patience can bring and the next few years should see him blossom.
