Gary Neville has said on his podcast that he could not believe how big Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is while watching him against Arsenal on Sunday evening.
The former Manchester United star was stunned at the size of Alisson, who was in action for Liverpool against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side lost the match 3-2.
Neville was on co-commentary duty for the game for Sky Sports.
And he was amazed at the size of Alisson during the penalty against Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
England international attacker Saka stepped up to take a penalty in the second half at the Emirates Stadium.

And he scored.
Former United star Neville has said that he thought that the 6 ft 3 in Alisson would save it and has praised Saka for his spot kick.
Gary Neville on Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson
Neville said about Alisson: “Alisson’s a huge presence. I didn’t actually watch the penalty on there, I watched it from the TV shots, from that really brilliant camera angle that we have.
“You just see the size of Alisson in front of you and you think, ‘If he dives the right way, he is probably going to save it’. He did dive the right way and didn’t save it, and that tells you how well he hit that penalty.”
Important player for the Reds
In our opinion, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has been one of the best players for the team so far this season.
We know that Liverpool as a team are struggling at the moment, but the one player who is doing well is Alisson.
The 30-year-old is a world-class player who remains at the top of his game.
For Liverpool to make this season a success, in our view, Alisson will have to stay on top of his game throughout.
