Chelsea’s Champions League victory made Spurs’ fourth placed finish void, cancelling their ticket to next year’s competition, and securing their own one in the process.
Quick-witted Chelsea fans have already produced Tottanic T-shirts to celebrate inflicting misery on Spurs, and they were on sale at Chelsea’s victory parade yesterday.
They feature Harry Redknapp, Ledley King, and Gareth Bale as the doomed cast and crew.
The big question, is Luka Modric already on the lifeboat on his way to Stamford Bridge?
