Sheffield Wednesday fans have been voting for the player that they would not mind seeing the back of this month.

The results from HITC Sport’s poll looking at the Sheffield Wednesday player fans would not mind to see the back of this month are in. But which player did Owls supporters suggest they would not mind seeing sold this month?

3. Claude Dielna (22%)

According to the Sheffield Star, Carlos Carvalhal is willing to let Claude Dielna leave the club, and it appears that the fans would have few qualms about seeing him leave. The Frenchman has not played for the Owls since the 2014/15 campaign.

2. Atdhe Nuhiu (25%)

The striker boasts something like cult-hero status at Hillsborough, but it seems that the supporters are happy to see him move on before his legacy is tainted. Nuhiu has not scored in any of his 16 appearances this season, and the arrival of Sam Winnall has probably sent him further down the pecking order.

1. Lewis McGugan (33%)

Another player the Star claimed Wednesday are willing to sell this month is Lewis McGugan. The midfielder was once one of the brightest stars in the Championship but his time with the Owls has been disappointing to say the least. Since joining permanently in 2015, he has made just 13 appearances, none of which have come this term. A third of Owls fans who voted decided that they would not mind seeing McGugan move on this month.
