Swansea City have given a good account of themselves to date, but have to watch their standards don’t slip over the long season ahead.

Manager: Brendan Rodgers is proving why he is one of the most highly rated young managers in the game, with Swansea’s passing football winning plenty of plaudits.
Grade: B+
Verdict: Swansea City have surpassed all expectation since arriving in the Premier League and have proved a breath of fresh air. It is a compliment to them that they have conceded just two goals at home all season, a record most sides would kill for, let alone a promoted side.
The best thing is they have not ‘parked the bus’ to achieve this, but play attractive football with passing statistics more akin to Barcelona.
Their biggest problem has been finding the net, Danny Graham struggled at first but is beginning to find form, while Leroy Lita is yet to show his best form.
With better finishing, 1-0 losses to Arsenal and Manchester United could have been 1-1 draws, and this could cost them in the second half of the season if it does not improve.
