Recovering Gunners have a lot to prove despite enthralling win over Chelsea.
Stand-out player: Who else but Robin van Persie.
Other notable mentions: Mikel Arteta, Gervinho, Aaron Ramsey and Woljciech Sczcsney have all played well but each are capable of more.
Must do better: Andrey Arshavin, the Russian looks disinterested and uninspired and could be heading for the exit door.
The manager: Arsene Wenger has answered his critics in recent weeks, but does he have the stomach for much more? How he spends in January will define their season.
You still get the feeling Arsenal are a loss away from slipping back into crisis-mode again.
Grade: C+
Verdict: Its early days, and Arsenal are on a winning streak, but they are used to looking down the table at Spurs and not up at them.
Don’t forget this is a club who were hopeful of winning the league until last March, so to now be talking about fighting to finish in the top four shows the regression which took place over summer, despite the recent recovery.
