West Ham have signed Jordan Hugill from Preston.

West Ham clinched the signing of a striker on transfer deadline day, but it was not one fans had expected.
The Hammers signed Preston North End forward Jordan Hugill, beating competition from Crystal Palace from his signature.
But as so often with West Ham on transfer deadline day, supporters have been left feeling short changed.
A snapshot of reaction to West Ham’s official transfer unveiling of Hugill showed various stages of discontent, with the signing and the board.
Not good enough?
Fans were hoping for a big name signing and Hugill’s goalscoring record for Preston is only moderately impressive.
Hugill was enjoying the best season of his career to date, but he has a lot to prove to supporters.
‘Sack the board’
Hammers fans are getting quite sick of another transfer deadline day which has left them feeling let down.
Hugill was not a top target for the club at the start of the window and there is real panic this is a desperation move.
Already under pressure owners David Gold and Sullivan will face questions over their preparation.
Got our support
While West Ham fans are sceptical of Hugill and particularly the board, fans are willing to give him a shot.
It’s going to be difficult for him to win everybody over – and an early goal will go a long way.
