Speaking on a video posted to Liverpool’s Twitter page, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has tipped Thiago Alcantara and James Milner to become managers in the future.
Footballers often go into coaching once their playing career is over, and the Ox believes that Milner and Thiago have the right personality to become gaffers.
The midfielder was being interviewed by a couple of the youngsters in Liverpool’s academy, and they wanted to know which player at Anfield is the most likely to become a manager in the future.

Oxlade-Chamberlain backed Milner and Thiago to become coaches.
“James Milner or Thiago, it’s more about the personality. You have to have the right character for it,” Oxlade-Chamberlain said.
Thiago could be great
James Milner could very well end up being a manager. After all, he’s a part of the same generation as the likes of Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard who have now gone on to become managers.
However, Thiago is the one we’re the most excited about.
The Spaniard is one of the most intelligent footballers on the planet, and when you look at the coaching he has received over the years, it has to be said that he’s had the best education possible.
Thiago has played for both Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, and when you factor in that he’s also worked with Jupp Heynckes then you have a player who has learnt from three of the greatest managers of all time.
It really wouldn’t surprise us if Thiago goes on to become a great manager once his playing career is finished.
