Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after fresh footage emerged of Mikel Arteta being interrupted during an interview, and he wasn’t happy.
The Spaniard was just about to begin an interview before he asked someone out of the frame to close the door for him.
Then, whoever he’s speaking to makes a mountain out of a molehill and proceeds to disrupt the interview even more by continuously apologising.
Once Arteta can see that more fuss has been caused than there needed to be, he slaps his hand on his thigh and looks visibly annoyed.
Hilariously, the disruptor then continues apologising, far more than he actually needed to, which just makes the situation all the more awkward.
Some fans had never seen Arteta like this, and decided to comment on the Spaniard’s angry reaction to what had happened.
Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that the footage is fresh, as Arteta is wearing one of the club’s new ‘424’ hoodies, as seen on the club’s official website.
One supporter said they certainly wouldn’t want to get into the 38-year-old’s bad books, before remarking about the ‘rage’ in the former Manchester City man’s eyes.
Another said they ‘love’ the anger on his face, while another felt Arteta was ‘seething’ at what had happened.
It definitely gave a small insight into what the Gunners boss is like around London Colney when people don’t do as he demands.
Perhaps that’s why he swung the axe on Sead Kolasinac, Shkodran Mustafi and Mesut Özil all in the same transfer window.
