Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool want to sign Archie Gray in the summer transfer window, and his Leeds United manager Daniel Farke’s comments are surely going to excite the Anfield faithful.
Liverpool want to sign Leeds United star Archie Gray
Archie Gray is one of the best young players in the Championship, and I am not at all surprised that Liverpool are keen on the Leeds United star.
HITC revealed in February that Liverpool wanted to sign Gray from Leeds in the January transfer window and remain keen on bringing him to Anfield in the summer of 2024.
Newcastle United and Manchester City are also keeping tabs Gray, who is a midfielder by trade but has been playing as a right-back this season.
Daniel Farke praises Archie Gray
Gray has been called up to the England Under-21s squad, and Leeds head coach Daniel Farke is pleased about it, noting just how special the 18-year-old is.
Farke said about Gray, as quoted on BBC Sport: “When you watch his games, the consistency, the quality of the performances, also his personality, it says enough. You don’t have to be a football expert to know how good Archie is. He’s so down to earth and humble.”

Gray is only 18 now and is just starting his career, but I think that he would be a good signing for Liverpool. England head coach Gareth Southgate likes him.
Having played for a big club such as Leeds, the teenager would not be fazed at the prospect of turning out for Liverpool.
Yes, Leeds could win promotion to the Premier League, but I do not think that it would affect Liverpool if they were really determined to sign Gray and made a big bid.
Gray has made 32 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds this season. He has given two assists in those games.
