Speaking on the Where’s Jeff? Podcast, Matt Le Tissier has shared what he’s heard from a contact inside the Arsenal camp about their ongoing struggles on the pitch.
It’s no secret that the Gunners are in turmoil right now. The London club sit bottom of the Premier League having not scored a single goal yet in the competition.
Somewhat understandably, a lot of the fanbase’s frustrations have been aimed towards Mikel Arteta during this time, but Le Tissier is led to believe that the manager isn’t the problem at Arsenal, claiming that there is a problem in the dressing room.
What’s been said?
Le Tissier shared what he’s heard from a source.
“I can tell you from a contact inside the Arsenal camp. At Arsenal the problem isn’t the manager, the problem is all in the changing room from what I’m hearing,” Le Tissier said.
“There is a lot of disharmony in the changing room and that’s something which is very difficult for a manager.
“Even though it might be the players fault, we always know what happens when things goes wrong, and it’s always the manager who carries the can.”

Worrying
This is very worrying.
It’s one thing to have a bad manager at the helm, but it’s something else completely to have a squad that just doesn’t get on.
A lack of harmony within the squad is something that isn’t easily fixed, and if Arsenal do indeed have this problem, the end of their problems may not be in sight for a little while yet.
Fingers crossed someone at the club finds a way to get everyone back on the same page sooner rather than later.
