Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal stars have been among the worst performing of the Premier League season so far.
GK: Brad Guzan
The Aston Villa shot stopper has been shaky so far this season and his costly error against Chelsea sums up his campaign.
LB: Patrick van Aanholt
Sunderland’s left-back has drawn ire from fans after poor performances both offensively and defensively.
CB: Fabricio Coloccini
Another Sunderland player Younes Kaboul has been worse but the Newcastle United captain has a responsibility to lead and has often failed miserably, despite the odd promising performance.
CB: Joleon Lescott
Another central defender in awful form so far this season. Aston Villa fans will be regretting Tim Sherwood’s decision to bring him on board from West Brom.
RB: Steven Whittaker
The Norwich City defender has taken a battering from his fans, who want him dropped, and edges Branislav Ivanovic after Sunday’s 6-2 defeat at Newcastle.
CM: Ashley Westwood
The third Aston Villa player in this team, supporters have had enough of the midfielder and feel incensed Sherwood has stuck by him.
CM: Cesc Fabregas
Nemanja Matic could have made this team but Chelsea’s Fabregas has been worse as far more is expected of him in an attacking sense.
CAM: Roberto Firmino
The Liverpool summer signing could still turn his Anfield career around but, so far, it’s not so good…
LW: Memphis Depay
Like a shadow of Anthony Martial: not very good at all for Manchester United.
RW: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Perhaps a harsh selection but the Arsenal winger has underwhelmed since his Community Shield exploits.
ST: Radamel Falcao
It doesn’t look like the Chelsea loanee is destined for the Premier League in any way, shape or form…
