Here’s how the Premier League table would look based purely on home form. Swansea and Queens Park Rangers would be the big winners. Spurs, however…

The difference between some Premier League sides home and away in the top flight is staggering.

As such, a Premier League table based only on home form would make for intriguing reading. Swansea City, for instance, would sit fifth in the table, with 20 points from 10 matches at the Liberty Stadium.

Garry Monk’s Swansea side would only be seven points behind league-leaders Chelsea based on their home form.

Only a point behind Swansea, however, would be Harry Redknapp’s QPR. On the road, QPR would be bottom of the standings on a mind-boggling zero points. At Loftus Road, though, QPR have amassed 19 points from 11 games.

But a ‘home’ table would make for less impressive reading for Tottenham Hotspur. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are currently fifth in the Premier League standings overall – but most of their success has come away from home.

Both QPR and Swansea would be above Tottenham based on their White Hart Lane form, with the north London side sitting in 10th. Newcastle United & Arsenal would also be above Tottenham, with Liverpool on level terms.
