Newcastle United want Adama Traore and Middlesbrough are eyeing Karl Darlow, according to reports.
It has been reported that Newcastle are planning to make a big-money move for the 21-year-old former Barcelona and Aston Villa winger.
“The newly promoted Premier League side had first asked about Boro’s flying flanker last week during transfer talks over Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow but were put off by the asking price,” states the report in GazetteLive.

Darlow is reported to be open to joining Boro, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper has reportedly been told that he will not be the first choice between the posts for the Magpies next season.
If Newcastle want Traore and Boro want Darlow, then it would make sense for the two clubs to strike a swap deal involving some cash as well.
Given that the former Spain Under-19 international cost Boro £7 million to sign from Villa in the summer of 2016, as reported by GazetteLive, the Magpies could have to throw in some cash as well in a deal potentially involving Darlow, but if Rafael Benitez’s side are keen on signing Traore, then they should be willing to part with some cash.
