While Leeds fans will probably not spend too much time mulling over the first round draw of the FA Cup which takes place tonight, there are a number of their players who will be very interested.

The likes of Lewie Coyle, Tyler Denton, Marcus Antonsson and Mallik Wilks are all on loan in League One or League Two, so their respective sides will all enter the competition in the next round.

And while Fleetwood, Port Vale, Blackburn and Accrington Stanley will all feel that they will be unlucky to receive a tie that sees them go in as underdogs, and thus, they may be optimistic heading into the draw, there is perhaps one team that the four Leeds-owned players would rather avoid.

January 29th 2017 proved to be one of the darkest days for the Whites since they returned to the Championship, and is undoubtedly a date that will haunt former boss Garry Monk whenever he looks back on his time at Elland Road.

It was the day that Leeds faced non-league side Sutton United in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and it resulted in one of the biggest upsets in recent memory with Paul Doswell’s men winning 1-0 thanks to a Jamie Collins penalty early in the second-half.

Few who witnessed the game will suggest that Leeds deserved anything from the tie, and thus, you would imagine that the likes of Coyle, Wilks, Denton and Antonsson – who all featured in the game – will have absolutely no desire to see their respective sides drawn against Sutton – especially if the draw hands them a trip to Gander Green Lane and sets up a contest on the U’s artificial surface.
