Leeds United take on Derby in the play-offs.

Harry Wilson of Derby looks on during the Sky Bet Championship between Derby County and Nottingham Forest at Pride Park Stadium on December 17, 2018 in Derby, England.

Leeds United will take on Derby in the Championship play-off semi-finals.

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have beaten Derby twice in the league this season.

On the most recent occasion, Derby were without star winger Harry Wilson.

Wilson was the player Leeds were particularly keen to find out about during the ‘Spygate’ controversy.

He was not fit to play, which Leeds wanted to find out about. ESPN reported how Bielsa had paid close attention to Wilson’s ability and tendencies from set pieces.

Wilson, on loan from Liverpool, has been getting better and better as the season has gone on.

He signed off at the weekend with a goal, keeping up his momentum ahead of the play-offs.

Wilson has scored 17 times for the Rams this season, a stunning contribution from a loan winger.

It’s no wonder Leeds paid so much attention to him, and he is the one Derby player who can really make a big difference.

Over two legs, Leeds have their work cut out to keep him quiet.

He’s certainly given Bielsa a lot to analyse since January.
