West Ham United have plenty of valuable assets who could be moved on at the end of the season.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has a lot of work to do this summer, if he is to build a squad who are capable of qualifying for Europe next season.
The problem for the Chilean is that he will probably not be given lavish funds in order to bolster his ranks sufficiently.
Pellegrini may instead have to sell before he can buy, and with that in mind, here are nine West Ham players who could realistically be let go this summer…
Adrian:
The 32-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and considering Lukasz Fabianski’s fine form, he probably doesn’t have a future at the London Stadium.

Arthur Masuaku:
The left-back joined the Hammers in the summer of 2016, but he has struggled to impress.
West Ham could be prepared to sell Masuaku for £10 million this summer, according to the Daily Mirror (February 12th 2019, page 56), and that would have to be considered as decent business.

Angelo Ogbonna:
The experienced centre-back is behind Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop in the central defensive pecking order at West Ham.
The Italian was linked with an exit from east London last month, with the Daily Mirror claiming (page 68, December 22) that Bologna were prepared to ay £9 million for his services.

Pedro Obiang:
The Spaniard has been a consistent performer for West Ham since joining the club in the summer of 2015, but that hasn’t stopped him being linked with a move away.
According to Sky Sports, Fiorentina were close to completing a £10 million deal for the midfielder in January, but alas, the move failed to materialise.

Carlos Sanchez:
The Colombian’s spell with the Hammers has been blighted by injury, and there would not be too many fans upset if he left at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old is under contract with the Hammers until the summer of 2020, so any kind of fee would be acceptable.

Marko Arnautovic:
The Austrian was heavily linked with an exit from West Ham in January, with BBC Sport claiming that the club received a £35 million bid for his services.
Despite going on to sign a new contract, it would still be no surprise to see him leave for pastures new in the summer.

Andy Carroll:
Another striker who could leave at the end of the season, the 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and given his problems with injuries, West Ham will surely not offer him a new deal.

Javier Hernandez:
The Mexican was heavily linked with an exit from West Ham in January, with Sky Sports reporting that the east London outfit rejected a £7 million bid from Valencia for his services.
Estimated value: £15 million
Lucas Perez:
The Spaniard has been woeful for the Hammers, since joining Pellegrini’s side from Arsenal for £4 million in the summer.
West Ham will sell the forward, should they receive an offer in excess of £3.5 million, according to Deporte Valenciano.
