Some Ipswich Town fans have been blown away by Aston Villa loanee Louie Barry after his debut performance for the Tractor Boys.
Barry has been touted as a future star at Villa, and it hasn’t taken him long to impress Ipswich supporters.
The Suffolk outfit lost in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, but Barry made an immediate impression, looking lively and creating a number of good chances for his teammates.
Barry is certainly a talent. He was a key member of Villa’s FA Youth Cup winning side last season, and he was even on Barcelona’s books at one point.
The striker looks set to have a big season at Ipswich, and with Paul Cook’s side looking like pushing for promotion this term, he could score bags of goals during this loan spell.
He’s hit the ground running, and if he can build on that this could be a very fruitful season for the young Villa star.
