Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Manchester United.

According to ESPN, Leeds are interested in signing Romero from United in the summer transfer window.

The West Yorkshire outfit will play in the Premier League next season after clinching automatic promotion from the Championship.

Metro has claimed that the Argentina international goalkeeper wants to leave Old Trafford this summer, and that the Red Devils will accept a transfer fee of £4 million for the 33-year-old.

The former AZ and Sampdoria star has been on the books of United since 2015, but he has been essentially the second-choice goalkeeper behind David de Gea.

However, whenever Romero has been called into action, he has done well, and one can understand why he reportedly wants to find a new club.

Kiko Casillas is the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds at the moment, and with the club signing Illan Meslier on a permanent contract from Lorient, it remains to be seen if Romero would want to move to Elland Road.
