Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (1:44pm, April 24, 2021) that Wolverhampton Wanderers may have to sell Pedro Neto just like they sold Diogo Jota to Liverpool last summer.
Liverpool signed 24-year-old Portugal international forward Jota from Premier League rivals Wolves in the summer of 2020.
Jota was one of the better players for Wolves, and despite his injury problems at Anfield this season, he has done well for the defending Premier League champions.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has scored eight goals in 10 Premier League starts and scored four goals and provided one assist in six Champions League starts for the Reds this season.
Former Crystal Palace and Birmingham City forward Morrison, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Wolves may have to sell Neto just like they did Jota.
Morrison said about Neto on Sky Sports News (1:44pm, April 24, 2021): “He has been outstanding. He has been a terrific signing. Wolves fans won’t like me saying this. He could be the next Jota who moves on because he is a very good, intelligent player.”

Pedro Neto at Wolverhampton Wanderers
Neto is only 21 years of age and has done enough at Wolves to suggest that he is a very talented and promising player.
According to WhoScored, the Portugal international winger has made 30 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Wanderers this season, scoring five goals and providing six assists in the process.
During the 2019-20 campaign, Neto made nine starts and 20 substitute appearances in the league, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Neto has actually been linked with a move away from Wolves, with journalist Duncan Castles claiming on the Transfer Window Podcast that both Manchester United and Manchester City want him.
