Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting after Alfie Devine was nominated for the PL2 Player of the Month award.
Devine has been ripping it up for the U23s so far this season. He has five goals and two assists in the PL2 and he’s doing all of this while playing as a midfielder.
What makes this even more exciting is the fact that Devine is just 17 years old and he’s already being nominated for these types of awards at U23 level.
As you can imagine, Tottenham fans are excited about the youngster, and it’s not hard to understand why.
Devine looks like the real deal, and at just 17, he has so much room to continue to grow and improve.
One fan even labelled him the new Frank Lampard, and if Devine goes on to be even half as good as the Chelsea legend, Tottenham will have an unbelievable player on their hands.
