The Brazilian did not even make it to the hour mark in the 4-1 loss, taken off with the score 4-1.
The reason for taking the Brazilian off was not just the team were getting hammered, but the fact they were struggling to get the ball to the 20-year-old.
Figures show that Adryan had highest average minutes per touch ratio of any he has played game under head coach Neil Redfearn this season – with the lowest figure representing him touching the ball more frequently.

Leeds brought on Billy Sharp in his place, but the striker saw even less of the ball than Adryan. Sharp managed just 11 touches of the ball in total compared to Adryan’s 27.
The change of system did what it was intended however, because Leeds did not concede another goal. Ipswich easing off somewhat should also be accounted for, but a heavy defeat would have been disastrous for Redfearn’s side.
After a stunning victory the previous week over Derby, a 4-1 loss is bad enough without it getting worse beyond that. Adryan being taken off gave him a breather, and he will hope to be more involved in the home match against Fulham next weekend.
