Robbie Keane has lauded Liverpool’s ‘incredible’ forward, Diogo Jota, as he told Premier League Productions.
The former striker added that, out of all of Liverpool’s strikers, he thinks that Jota is ‘the most natural’ inside of the box.
Jota has scored 12 Premier League goals this season and only Mohamed Salah (16) is running away with it on his own in the goalscoring charts.
Ever since the 25-year-old moved to Anfield, he has showcased this deadly nature inside the penalty area, whether it’s a right-footed volley or another headed goal.
Showcasing Ruud van Nistelrooy-like movement, not many are able to live with Liverpool’s pocket rocket.
Keane is a big fan of how Jota goes about his business and praised Jurgen Klopp for, once again, picking out a top performer for the Reds.
“He has been incredible,” said Keane. “12 Premier League goals this season. 11 have been scored from in between the posts.
“The positions that he picks up, it’s just not a coincidence. I think out of all the strikers that they have, I think he is the most natural one inside of the box.
“He has been a breath of fresh air. When you looked at Jota, did you think he could come to Liverpool and do what he is doing now? Klopp can certainly pick his players.”

From Divock Origi to Takumi Minamino, many players have tried to dethrone the previously unmovable front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah.
They have constantly struggled up until Jota arrived on the Merseyside scene last season.
The Portugal international couldn’t stop scoring from the bench, before scoring a hat-trick during a Champions League game, which then saw Klopp play all four of his attackers away at Manchester City.
That rise from Jota just continued and now when Klopp is selecting his strongest front three, Jota is a sure starter, alongside Mane and Salah.
