The Arsenal ace has become well known for ducking out of big away games.

Mesut Ozil has played just three Premier League games outside a 100-mile radius of Arsenal in last 17 months, according to a report from the Sun.
Since November 2017, the 30-year-old Gunners ace has only played Premier League games away from the 100-mile radius at Swansea City, Cardiff City and Newcastle United.
Inside the 100-mile radius, there are only 10 Premier League clubs, so the statistic is fairly damning for the German.
Ozil regularly misses big games, especially away from home, though supposed illnesses, and considering the fact that he earns a staggering £350,000 per week, that really isn’t good enough.
The former Real Madrid man has played 222 games for Arsenal since moving to the Emirates in a £42 million deal way back in the summer of 2013.

He is supposed to be a leader on the pitch, but unfortunately he’s nothing of the sort.
Arsenal face a 212-mile trip to Everton on Sunday, and it remains to be seen whether Ozil will once again miss out for his side in what is a vitally important game in the race for the top four.
