Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers worked with Manchester City youngster Raheem Sterling at Liverpool.
Jack Aitchison is only 17 years of age, but the Celtic youngster has already shown what he is capable of.
The Scottish youngster, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, has already played in the Scottish Premiership.
It is too early for Aitchison to start thinking about playing for the Celtic first team on a regular basis. After all, the attacker is not even 18.
The Scotland Under-17 international, though, seems to be hugely ambitious and wants to progress under Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
The teenager has pointed out the work Rodgers did with Raheem Sterling, claiming that he could reach that level.
Sterling, who is 22 years of age and can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, worked with Rodgers at Liverpool.
The England international is now at Manchester City, and the youngster is one of the best attacking players in the Premier League at the moment.
The City attacker has scored seven goals and created 46 chances in 32 Premier League appearances so far this season.
“The manager talks to me and helps me a lot,” Aitchison told The Scottish Sun. “I’m happy to leave it in his hands.
“You only have to look at what he’s done for young players like Raheem Sterling. I’ve total belief he’ll help me get to that level.”
