England beat Germany on Tuesday, and while Kalvin Phillips was one of the top performers at Wembley, his Leeds teammate Stuart Dallas singled out another player for praise.

Indeed, the Northern Irishman took to social media after the match and he was full of praise for Raheem Sterling.

Dallas claimed that Sterling is ‘the man’ after his showing against Germany, and we certainly can’t argue with that.

If Italia 90’ was Paul Gascoigne’s tournament and Euro 96’ was Alan Shearer’s tournament, Euro 2020 could be seen as Raheem Sterling’s tournament.

Three goals in four games so far, and we can only hope that there’s more to come from him.

The fact that Dallas singled him out for praise ahead of Kalvin Phillips shows just how impressive he has been.

Sterling is one of the stars of the tournament so far, and while pundits consistently called for the likes of Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford before a ball was kicked, Sterling has made sure he’s the first name on the teamsheet going forward.

England have a great chance of going deep into Euro 2020 now, and Sterling could be the man to carry them all the way to the trophy.
