Many Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited over claims in the Telegraph that Sergio Aguero would be open to a move to them.
Aguero has confirmed that he will be leaving City in the summer, and a move to join Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham side would apparently appeal to the striker.
Although any transfer is still a long way off, and Tottenham’s interest hasn’t been confirmed.
Aguero’s apparent willingness to sign up at Spurs has still excited supporters at the North London club.
And many Tottenham fans are open to the idea of bringing in the veteran forward.
If Tottenham were to sign Aguero, they would surely have to break their wage structure to do so.
His potential partnership with Harry Kane is a tantalising one to think about though.
Spurs would have two of the Premier League’s greatest ever forwards in their squad if they did bring in Aguero, and theoretically they could link up well.
But it may be worth Spurs supporters tempering their excitement for the time being, as any deal looks a long way off.
