Richarlison has returned to full training as Everton prepare to face Watford in the Premier League after over a month out through injury, exciting some fans reacting on social media.

The Toffees confirmed on Thursday that Richarlison had returned to occupying a full role in the sessions at Finch Farm. Rafa Benitez has been without the forward since September 13 as Everton beat Burnley 3-1 at Goodison Park.

Benitez had started Richarlison in each of Everton’s opening four top-flight fixtures before the Brazilian sustained a knee injury. The 24-year-old additionally started the campaign by scoring and assisting during their opening day come-from-behind win over Southampton.

Everton have only won one of the four Premier League fixtures Richarlison missed through injury so far this term. They have also only scored three goals over games with Aston Villa, Norwich City, Manchester United and West Ham.

Richarlison hands Benitez boost before Watford encounter

Richarlison had hoped to hand Benitez a boost before Everton host Watford by overcoming his injury and returning for selection. He has now delivered that aim, by taking a full part in training at Finch Farm. But the Blues remain without three-goal ace Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Everton confirmed on Wednesday that Calvert-Lewin will miss the Watford clash due to his ongoing recovery from a quadriceps injury. He is likely to miss a number of weeks while he sees a specialist for the issue which has kept the England international out since August 28.
