Speaking on the Que Golazo Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Leeds United’s remaining transfer plans.

The Whites have been one of the busiest clubs in England this summer, adding no fewer than five senior players to their squad already, and they’re not finished yet.

Indeed, according to Romano, Leeds want to make one more signing this summer – a new striker.

Interestingly, Romano states that a new attacker would be Leeds’ last signing this summer.

What’s been said?

Romano spoke about Leeds signing a new striker.

“Kalimuendo has always been one of the players on their list, they wanted him one month ago, but they focused on Charles De Ketelaere. Leeds are waiting to see what happens with De Ketalaere, if he joins Milan as it seems, they will move onto different targets,” Romano said.

“I see Leeds signing one more player, one more striker I would say they have already signed many players, so they just need something in the attacking position and this will probably be the last one for Leeds this summer.

Business done

Leeds’ summer business will be finished if they manage to sign a new striker, and, in all honesty, it’s hard to say that they haven’t fixed most of the problems within their squad.

If we were to nit-pick, we’d say that they could also do with signing a new left-back amid injuries to both Stuart Dallas and Junior Firpo, but that shouldn’t prove to be too big of an issue in the coming months.

The Whites have been very impressive operators this summer, and while a new striker would be the icing on the cake, it’d be tough to find a Leeds fan with major concerns heading into this new season.

The Yorkshire club look set up for a much better campaign this time around.
