Speaking to The Telegraph, Martin Odegaard has been discussing Arsenal’s training this week after their second defeat of the season against Everton over the weekend.
The Gunners were beaten by the Toffees on Saturday, and, all of a sudden, fans and pundits have been discussing a potential crisis at the Emirates.
However, according to Odegaard, the loss at the weekend has only served to refocus the squad, stating that the training sessions since that defeat have been the best they’ve had in ages.

Arsenal training improved
Odegaard spoke about Arsenal’s recent training sessions.
“For the players it is not a shock that we are where we are. We are enjoying it. But we know we can improve. No one is satisfied. Everyone just wants to get better. The last few days [after defeat at Everton] have been maybe the best training sessions we have had for ages. That says a lot,” Odegaard said.
Champions mentality
This is exactly what you want to hear after a notable defeat.
Arsenal could easily have spent this week being down in the dumps about losing to Everton, but instead, they’ve dusted themselves off and got back to business in great fashion.
Of course, they need to back these positive training sessions up with a performance against Brentford this weekend, but after these comments from Odegaard, you certainly wouldn’t back against Arsenal going and winning against the Bees.
The Gunners seem to have the right mentality to go on and become champions.
