Spurs lost the first leg 1-0 in Belgium last week, which meant that they were knocked out of the prestigious European competition 3-2 on aggregate.
The performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side against Gent was far from impressive, and they did not deserve to go through to the last-16 stage.
