Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers lost against Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers suffered an embarrassing and humiliating defeat to Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Gers went down 5-1 to the Bhoys at Ibrox, having suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Brendan Rodgers’s side in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup last weekend.
It was one of Rangers’ worst performances of the season, and manager Pedro Caixinha must surely be disappointed with the way his team played.

The only Rangers player who did well against Celtic was Kenny Miller. The striker scored for the home team in the 81st minute of the encounter.
The 37-year-old had a good game overall, and he was the one who was trying to rally the players to fight against Celtic.
The following picture of Miller during the match against Celtic sums up Rangers’ current situation. There is a distinct gulf in class between the Gers and the Boys, and it is unlikely that the gap will be close too much next season.
The situation may not be exactly dire for Rangers, but they will have to step up their game next season and finish at least second in the Scottish Premiership table.
