Sam Allardyce has told talkSPORT that he has played his part in where West Ham currently are in the Premier League table.
West Ham are currently sitting ninth in the Premier League table and they can move into the top-seven with a victory against Allardyce’s West Brom today.
Allardyce helped the Hammers return to the promised land in 2012 when they beat Blackpool in the playoff final.
He then secured their safety for a number of seasons and has shared his thoughts on their current situation under David Moyes.
“Oh, alright [with going back to West Ham], I have been several times,” said Allardyce. “It’s not a problem, for me.
“I think that West Ham are where they are because I and everybody else at West Ham managed to put them in a position for three seasons in the Premier League to establish themselves after getting promoted in year one.
“So, to see where they are which means the job I did I really enjoyed.”

When Moyes returned to West Ham not many gave him a chance to show that he can get the London club competing again.
But he has surprised many with the job he has done, and in truth, he is papering over the cracks of those in the boardroom.
Whilst West Ham can move into a European place today, they will have to be on their guard against a West Brom side fighting for their survival.
