Trevor Sinclair has made it clear that it ‘depends’ on Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon as to how far they want to push for their futures at Tottenham.
The England winger was praising summer signing Ivan Perisic and the ‘IQ levels and experience’ he will bring to the table.
With Perisic through the doors, added with Ben Davies being able to play as a left-sided wing-back, alongside Sessegnon and Reguilon.

Then it means that something has to give and somebody has to depart for the exit door from those positions, with Reguilon left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour of Korea.
Nonetheless, when Sinclair was asked about the futures of Reguilon and Sessegnon, as well as the arrival of Perisic, this is what he had to say on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel.
“It depends on them (Sessegnon and Reguilon),” said Sinclair. “If they want to roll their sleeves up and have a fantastic pre-season, then make sure they turn up fit and get themselves and their names back into Antonio Conte’s mind.
“Antonio Conte will probably know that by now, they have been back a week or two.
“Perisic, the IQ and the experience that he has got. He comes in with certain standards you know you can rely on. That was a no-brainer, it was a great bit of business and a free-transfer.
“He will be an asset. Whether it’s as a wide player or comes in as a number ten or adapts the shape for certain games.”

REGUILON’S TIME COULD BE UP
It’s pretty clear that Conte has made his mind up about the former Real Madrid man from last season.
Reguilon wasn’t fit enough on a regular basis to elevate himself under Conte, whilst Sessegnon was the man picked when fit and available.
Added with that, right-back Matt Doherty was also used in that role, a position he thrived in, which just further indicated Reguilon’s troubles.
But with Conte not even bothering to take him to Korea to have a proper look at him in pre-season.
Then it’s black and white to the player that the Italian has already made up his mind and it’s time for him to look for a new home.
