Leicester City have collected points at a more rapid rate than any other Premier League side over the past eight months.
Leicester City’s march to the top of the Premier League table has been nothing short of remarkable.
The Foxes currently sit two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the standings in England’s top-flight, but their form is even more impressive, when you take into account their end to last campaign.
Leicester finished last season in wonderful form, as they avoided the drop in dramatic circumstances.
Leicester looked doomed towards the backend of last campaign, but a run of wins under previous boss Nigel Pearson got them out of trouble, and they have continued that sequence of positive results ever since Claudio Ranieri took charge.
Indeed, if the Premier League started from the end of March 2015, Leicester would be seven points clear at the top.

In the past eight months, Leicester have picked up seven points more than Manchester City, nine points more than Arsenal, and a whopping 14 points more than Manchester United.
Last season’s champions Chelsea have also been left trailing in their wake, while Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool – who could rival the Foxes for a top-four place this term – have been nowhere near the Midlands side.
Leicester’s sustained excellence is certainly not flash in the pan, and with their results showing no signs of slowing down, there is no telling just how far they could rise this season.
