Hull fans have been voting for the player that they would not mind seeing the back of this month.
The results from HITC Sport’s poll looking at the Hull City player fans would not mind to see the back of this month are in. But which player did Tigers supporters suggest they would not mind seeing sold this month?
3rd: Shaun Maloney (16%)
Bournemouth’s Jack Wilshere in action with Hull City’s Shaun Maloney
Shaun Maloney has made little impact for a Hull side that has struggled for numbers all year. He has made just five appearances in the Premier League, scoring once and contributing one assist. At 34, it seems unlikely that he will be featuring too often for Marco Silva’s side in the remaining months of the campaign.
2nd: David Marshall (37%)
David Marshall’s form since his arrival at Hull City last summer has been fairly unspectacular, and quite disappointing at times, and he has had to watch Eldin Jakupovic look much better between the sticks when given the chance. According to transfermarkt, Hull spent £3.49 million on him last year and an offer of a similar amount from another club would surely appeal to them. The fact that Allan McGregor has moved out on loan would surely prevent the hierarchy from actually selling him though.
1st: Alex Bruce (42%)
Alex Bruce
Alex Bruce has not made any appearances for Hull this season. And while that is largely down to injury, it perhaps would not be the biggest surprise if he was considering his options given the calibre of the players currently playing at centre-back. He may be a useful loan addition to a Championship side perhaps, but it appears that Hull fans are not too bothered about keeping him beyond this month.
